All at the Market Tavern, Los Cristianos, where a benefit night was held on the 20^th December, raising a whopping €532. Entertainment was provided by compere Carly, Billy Porter, Avril Capper and Suzy Q, and owners Joe and Stuart had a full bar of generous people. Thank you all.

Pauline, Bob, Shaun and Dawn at 7 Islands Wine Bar on Golf del Sur, for holding a Christmas raffle for us, raising €105. Well done guys.

Dale Brailey, compere of the Palms Bar, Golf del Sur for organising and taking part in a sponsored head shave on New Years Eve. Dale had not had his hair cut for the whole of 2009 so it had grown quite long!!
A massive thanks to the residents of Club de Mar, Palm Mar, for their brilliant support in sponsoring Dale, and to Babs, and all at The Palms.
Another big thanks to Bar Nauta at the Camp site, namely Adrian who also had his hair cut off on New Years Eve to raise money, and to The Corner shop in Palm Mar who encouraged people to put money in a tin.
Due to everyone´s support we raised a massive €1243.32.
Dale would like to say a special thank you himself to all who helped him raise this fantasic amount.

THE PURCHASE OF LAND FOR A SOUTH TENERIFE RESCUE CENTRE

Finally, the purchase of land is moving from a dream to a reality, as we attempt to buy a piece of land in Fasnia. We are part of the way there, due to several generous benefactors, but construction costs will not be small, so we need a fundraising initiative too.

Could you, BUY A SQUARE METRE OF LAND FOR Live Arico? At just €5 per square metre, you will receive a certificate from Live Arico for now, and your name and number of square metres purchased will be on a “Roll of Honour” in the welcome centre at the new refuge.

WE ARE SITUATED IN CORAL MAR SQUARE, COSTA DEL SILENCIO, ABOVE NETTO SUPERMARKET.

WE NEED UNWANTED BRIC A BRAC!! Don't chuck out your chintz, give it to us, and we will sell it to feed the doggies!!

Our blood pressure checking service is up and running so on a Wednesdays between 10am and 3pm - you can have yours checked by our fully qualified nurse, all we ask is a few euros donation to help our many dogs.

Our shop is stocked full of great bargains, ranging from clothes to books, toys, bric a brac, Xmas decorations and much much more, why not come and pay us a visit.

The new shop opening times are :-

Monday - Friday 10am- 3pm

Saturday - 10am – 2pm.

We are happy and grateful to receive any donations of cat and dog food at the shop.
